Impacts on roads
⚠️ Significant traffic difficulties to be anticipated in Île-de-France
The start of the school year, the resumption of economic activity and logistics flows, as well as all the measures enabling the Paralympic Games to be held (security perimeters and reserved lanes) will have a significant impact on road traffic in the Ile-de-France region, and in particular on the Boulevard Périphérique and the motorways. A1, A3, A86 and A104.
It is strongly recommended to avoid these areas.

Activation times for motorized traffic restriction perimeters
Competition sites
- Pedestrian and cyclist access to the competition sites is authorized only to spectators with tickets and people accredited by Paris 2024.
- Access to the red and blue perimeter is free for pedestrians and cyclists.
- In the red zone, access by motorized vehicle is authorized subject to exemptions and upon presentation of a Games Pass.
- Access by motorized vehicle within the blue perimeter is authorized for legitimate reasons and upon presentation of proof.
Paralympic Triathlon
- A red perimeter around the race routes will be put in place 3 hours before the start of the event.
- The red perimeter is freely accessible to pedestrians, cyclists and spectators.
- No motorized vehicles will be authorized to circulate in the red perimeter, with the exception of emergency services and vehicles accredited by Paris 2024. Residents and professionals in the red perimeter who have a travel requirement will be able to access it without a Games Pass with an exceptional exemption at the discretion of the police and up to 1h30 before the start of the Paralympic triathlon.
